Daryl & Debbie Bell have become an integral part of the FCA family.  They joined the staff of FCA after coaching at Worthington Christian High School for 24 years.  Daryl was the Head Coach of the Boys and Girls High School Track & Field and Cross Country Teams; Debbie served at his side. 

        Daryl says, “Whenever you do something you love for years it is hard to let it go, particularly after God provided so many wonderful memories of great times with great athletes and great parents.”  After leaving WCHS the Bell’s decided to take a year to seek the Lord for new direction.  After a year of prayer, Daryl had the opportunity to minister to 20 coaches at an FCA camp at the University of Findlay.  This lead to discussion with Executive Director Kent Zanon, and several Board Members.  The Bells then attended a Coaches Marriage retreat where they met President of FCA Les Steckel and his wife Chris.  It was further confirmation that they were made for this ministry.                
        Coach Bell is serving faithfully in Central Ohio as the Director of Coaching Ministries and Debbie is his assistant.  With FCA’s renewed emphasis on ministering to coaches and their spouses, the Bell’s believe God has called them for “such a time as this”.  Coach Bell says, “We have rubbed shoulders with coaches for so long; we know what they think about the pressures to win, about the pressures their marriages undergo and the answers that can be found in God’s Word.  We need to encourage growth in their knowledge of God.”  Coach and Mrs. Bell are thrilled to share with other coaches in this ministry.
