FCA Coaches Ministry launched a brand new ministry to coaches wives, March 1st, at Jim & Barb Hardin’s home in Westerville. Nineteen women (14 coaches wives, 5 Support team wives) gathered to celebrate this exciting addition to the Coaches Ministry. This long awaited ministry was very well received by all the ladies in attendance.
The ladies were treated to wonderful fellowship, an encouraging program and delicious desserts. Debbie Bell shared her testimony of how God worked in her life to bring her to Jesus as a senior in high school. She also shared how she handled the challenges associated supporting her husband as he carried out his duties as a head coach for 24 years. The ladies finished their time together by breaking into groups of 3-4, sharing prayer requests and praying for one another. They indicated a desire to meet quarterly, and to grow the ministry by inviting more wives to join them. We want to do all we can to support these very important women of sport.
