1) Share: Share Him Passionately.
FCA shares Christ with those who do not have a personal relationship with Him. We believe that He is the only source of salvation, and with great passion we desire to share the Gospel with the world.
"… they continued teaching and proclaiming the good news that the Messiah is Jesus." Acts 5:42
- Share with your teammates your desire to get to know them better through this weekly Team Bible Study
- Share God’s word with your teammates through the provided ministry resources found at http://www.fcalax.com/BibleStudies/.
- Share with the FCA Lacrosse staff how the TBS is going by filling out the “PRAISE REPORT” online after each study. This will help us pray for your TBS and will let us know how we can better serve you.

2) Seek: Seek Him Constantly.
FCA equips and encourages others to seek Him daily. A lifelong pursuit of knowing and loving Jesus requires perseverance and discipline.
"…they welcomed the message with eagerness and examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so." Acts 17:11
- Seek the Lord on your own through daily prayer and reading of his word.
- Seek God and pray that He will impact your team through the Team Bible Study.
- Seek out your teammates, and encourage them to check out the Team Bible Study.

3) Lead: Lead others Faithfully.
FCA desires to model Jesus’ example of serving by seeking out the needs of others, developing trusting relationships and caring about the individuals we serve.
“The greatest among you will be your servant.” Matt 23:11
- Lead your teammates to read the Bible on their own so they can come to the Team Bible Study with questions that they would like answered. FCA Lacrosse will provide you with the resources and equipment you need to run your T.B.S.
- Lead consistently.Make and effort to have the Team Bible Study each week.If your teammates see that you are committed to it they will follow your lead.

4) Love: Love Others Unconditionally.
FCA realizes that the most powerful force in the world is love. We desire to be obedient to the Lord as He said that we would be known by our love.
“Above all, love each other deeply …” 1 Peter 4:11
- Love your teammates by giving each of them an opportunity to know about the Team’s Bible Study. The worst thing they could do is say, “No thanks.”
Love and pursue your teammates. Some ways to get the word out to your teammates are sending mass e-mails with the meeting information, by putting up flyers in the locker room, or simply by inviting your teammates in person. |
