Mini-Camp

Mini-Camp is a weekend retreat for high school athletes and coaches, which is hosted locally and now open to all FCA athletes in North Mississippi.  Camp Lake Stephens in Oxford, MS has provided a beautiful backdrop for this event since its establishment in 2005. 

At Mini-Camp high school athletes are lead through competition and small group Bible studies by college huddle leaders.  These huddle leaders come from all across the state to invest, mentor, and be a positive influence in the lives of these younger athletes.  All our college huddle leaders are trained to lead their huddle with a Christ like attitude and to point their huddle members towards attaining or developing their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Mini-Campers get:

     Small group attention and supervision
     Biblical teaching and instruction

Mini-Camp would not be possible without our local coaches.  Coaches who have a heart for the Lord help us to recruit, as well as, supervise our campers on site.  Through serving, helping officiate competition, in some instances providing transportation, and being positive role models to their athletes our volunteer coaches are a vital part of what make Mini-Camp run!
